Another successful campout under Gold
Country Horsemen Association's belt.
Everyone seems to be catching onto arriving at camp on Thursday, to set up,
relax and rest
up before we start riding on Friday. We had more than ¾ of the interested
parties show up
on Thursday, which makes it nice. There was about 25 people, including a couple
non riders,
who participated in the Clark Fork campout. I really want to thank the Storments
for stepping
up to the bat and leading this campout. Friday’s ride was awesome! Six
hours of some of the
most beautiful scenery the Sierras have to offer. Thirteen riders on Friday
the 13th. .
Temperatures were in the low 80s, clear skies and nice breeze. You couldn’t
ask for better
riding conditions, except for less dust. Saturday’s ride took the gang
to Spicer’s Reservoir.
I hear it was an awesome ride. I didn’t make it due to feeling a little
under the weather, so stayed
and watched camp along with a couple others. Of the folks that rode, some fished,
hiked and others
took naps during the lunch break, but everyone enjoyed it. Two long days of
riding, camaraderie, joking,
poking fun and meals fit for a king. What more could one ask for? I hope you
enjoy the pictures.
